A man was killed in a car crash last week near Frost Road and North 14, and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s department said alcohol may have been a factor.
The wreck happened Jan. 20 just before 10 p.m., when Sgt. Aaron Williamson said in a press release that a blue Chevy pickup driven by John Sistock crossed the center line and hit a Toyota Camry that was headed northbound on Highway 14.
Sistok, 55, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The other driver, a 60-year old woman, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, Williamson said. “Preliminary investigation indicates that Sistok was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash,” he added.
