The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department identified the body found at North 14 and Paa-ko Golf Drive March 14 as a 15-year-old male. The department also made four arrests, charging a 17-year-old male with an open count of murder.

That’s according to a press release by the department March 19 at 6:38 p.m.

Four suspects have been arrested, three are minors and one, Scott Spencer, is 19, according to the press release. 

Of the four, an unnamed 17-year-old is charged with an open count of murder. All four are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy. Spencer is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The victim’s body was found “with obvious signs of trauma,” according to an earlier press release identifying the death as a homicide.

Spencer’s Facebook page reveals that he is a resident of Albuquerque and was a student at New Mexico Military Institute. According to Facebook he also attended CNM and is from Mobile, Alabama.
