Sporting Clays shooters take aim this Saturday at Founders Ranch in Edgewood to support Edgewood Chamber of Commerce’s mission of business and community prosperity.

The 2nd annual Bustin’ Clays & Pumpkins Fall Fun Classic is a sporting clays event—often referred to as “golf with a shotgun.” Bustin’ Clays participants, beginner to advanced, move through a 14-station course (round robin style) at beautiful Founders Ranch in Edgewood.

The event will be held Oct. 21 at Founders Ranch starting at 9:30 a.m., and supports Edgewood Chamber of Commerce’s mission of business and community prosperity throughout the East Mountain region.

The cost is $60 per person, which includes up to 100 clays, a light breakfast, hot lunch and pie. Teams may enter for $240.

Unlike skeet or trap shooting, Sporting Clays challenges participants with changing variations in speed, trajectory, elevation, angles, and distances. And, keeping with autumn traditions, an air cannon will be on-site for participants to get a chance on the ‘big gun’ to launch pumpkins.

Individuals and Teams are encouraged to join in friendly competition, where “top team” and “top gun” will be recognized. The event includes lots of give-aways from local businesses, and instruction is available for beginners.

Day-of-event registration is possible, based on space availability. Advance registration is recommended by Oct. 19 at
