Jeanette Trujillo Silva, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Jan. 14. Jeanette, a resident of Mountainair, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church; she was also an excellent cook and she enjoyed sewing, amongst many other things. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, but most of all loved being at home. She will be greatly missed. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Valentin; parents, Abilio Trujillo and Josephine Candelaria Trujillo; brothers, Abelino Trujillo and Robert Trujillo; sisters, Dommie Chavez, Patsy Trujillo, Geraldine Lucero, and a grandson, Timothy T. Chavez. She is survived by one brother, Avilio Trujillo, Jr. and wife Felicia; sisters Angie Garcia and Diana Saiz and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Trujillo; daughters, Loretta Moseley and husband, Ted, and Stella Chavez and husband, Samuel; sons, Jeffrey Silva and wife, Rhonda, Patrick Silva and wife, Kolani and Kevin Silva; five granddaughters, Jennifer, Stephanie, Rebecca, Savanna and Samantha; six grandsons, Donnie, Robert, Lawrence, Kyler, Auron and Joseph; four great-granddaughters, Shantel, Korin, Kailynn and Auria; two great-grandsons, Elijah and Kaidus and numerous nieces and nephews. All services will be held Jan. 20 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Punta de Agua, beginning with a rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Punta de Agua Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel.
