Jennie Rael, 74, passed away Oct. 11 in Albuquerque. She was born June 11, 1941, in Seboyeta, to the late Delubino and Frances (Mirabal) Romero. Jennie was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Albuquerque. She was a kind-hearted soul with a smile that was extremely contagious. Jennie is also preceded in death by her brother, Delubino Romero Jr. She is survived by her husband, Willie Rael of Albuquerque; son, Charles Rael of Los Angeles, Calif.; Arlene Trujillo of Albuquerque, and Debbie Wiese of Albuquerque; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claudio “Lalo” Romero and Efren and Theresa Romero; sister-in-law, Romona Romero and grandchildren, Andrew Wiese, Crysta Trujillo, Valerie Trujillo and Samantha Gallegos. A graveside funeral service will be held Oct. 16 at 10 a.m., at the San Jose De Armijo Cemetery in Albuquerque. Pastor Richard Mansfield will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Romero, Charles Rael, Dickie Waters, Andrew Wiese, Isaac Padilla and Antonio Hernandez. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary.
