Jeraldo “Jerry” Garcia, 82, passed away Nov. 20. Jerry was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Tajique, and was a longtime resident of Mountainair. Jeraldo loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a good man. If you knew Jeraldo you would know that he had one of the biggest hearts of anyone in this world. We will never forget his bright smile and beautiful soul. We will obit Jeraldo Garciamiss him dearly. Jerry is survived by his wife of 29 years, Gloria; children, AnnaLisa and Bill Lujan; stepchildren, Aurora Reese, Lori and Travis Dempsey, Ray and Carol Zamora, Larry and Tammy Zamora, Richard Zamora and Robert and Denise Zamora; grandchildren, Sylvia, Joseph, Denise, Johnathan, Adrienne, Vanessa, Santana, Cimarron, Vincent, Victor, Regina, Renee, Tera, Korey, Kasey, Jacob, Jaden, Jordyn and Haley; and nine great grandchildren, Caden, Daylen, Payson, Nevaeh, Allianna, Jose, Eliana, Azalia and Ignacio. Services will be held Nov. 25 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique, beginning with the Rosary at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 11. Interment will follow at Tajique Catholic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Lujan, Jonathan Lujan, Jordan Dempsey, Haley Dempsey, Jacob Zamora and Jayden Zamora. Honorary pallbearers will be Sylvia Lujan, Adrienne Bargas, Vanessa Zamora-Chavez, Santana Zamora, Cimarron Zamora, Vincent Zamora, Victor Zamora, Regina Zamora, Tera Romero, Renea Zamora, Korey Reese and Kasey Reese. Arrangements are being handled by Noblin Funeral Service & Crematory Belen Chapel.
