Julian Robert Garcia, 50, passed with peace and grace Sept. 20. Julian was born Jan. 13, 1965, in Albuquerque, and was a firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service. Julian was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Sollars; grandfather, George Silva; aunt, Jenny Devore and uncle, Russell Jones. He is survived by his parents, Benny and Emma Garcia of Torreon; God-daughter, Rachel Garcia-Sanders; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Silva, Patrick and Theresa Garcia and Louie Garcia; sisters and brother-in-law, Pam Gillette and Laura and Mark Garcia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time.
