Miguel Servando Lucero, 62, passed away Sept. 11. He was born Oct. 29, 1952, in Tecolotito, to the late Ecipio and Nancy (Montoya) Lucero. Miguel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Lucero of Moriarty; sons, Gabriel Lucero and Jeffrey Lucero of Moriarty; daughter, Amanda Lucero of Las Cruces; brothers and sister-in-law, Eddie and Janie Lucero, Leroy Lucero, Ecipio Lucero and Tommy Lucero; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ernestine and Ross Marez, Lorraine and Daniel Kirchner, Bertha and Ruben Cantu, Toni and Jimmy Johnson and Renee and David Romero and one granddaughter, Jaidyn Lucero. A Rosary was recited Sept. 15 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. A celebration of Mass will be Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Daniel Kirchner, Diego Robinson, Derrick Gonzales, Teddy Lucero, Joey Lucero and Jamie Lucero. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary.
