Naomi Dee Johnson, 76, passed away Oct. 10 in Albuquerque. She was born Sept. 30, 1940 in Santa Rita, to the late Claude and Guyeula (Foster) Nard. Naomi was a member of the Estancia Church of Christ and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ed Johnson; sister, Audrey Blackburn; and son, Rusty Johnson. Naomi is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Aimee and George Elliott of Moriarty; sister, Claudine Matheny; five grandchildren, Laura Black, Katherine Fisher, Seth Johnson, Brandon Elliott and Sarah Elliott; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled Oct. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Moriarty Church of Christ. Interment will be at the Stanley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Elliott, Dillon Booth, Walter Elliott, Gerald Elliott, Charles Elliott and Ron Hibner.
