Ralph Aufrance passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89 on May 13. He was born in Homeworth, Ohio on Dec. 3, 1926. He was the perfect example of the best husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend anyone could ever have. His love for Jesus, kindness and overwhelming love for everyone he knew is what he is truly known for. Ralph is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruthann; four children, Patty Lucas and John, Judy Nolte and Paul, Roger Aufrance and Linda, and Barbie Letcher; nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and and nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Jacob and Howard and Marilyn Linger and Jim. He will be joining his two brothers Glenn and Jerry along with his Mom, Gladys and Dad, Elmer at Heaven’s gate. Wow, what a reunion that will be. Ralph moved his family from Ohio to Phoenix in 1961. He worked at Maricopa Meat Packing Co. and Farmer Johns, then he worked at Cummins Diesel of Phoenix for 31 years until he retired. So he thought, but continued on working at the Printing Co. for several more years. Ralph will be so missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We will have a celebration of his life June 4 at 4 p.m. at Messinger Mortuary in Scottsdale, Ariz., with a reception immediately following.
