Robert Adam Jaramillo, 36, passed away Sept. 2 in Ponderosa. He was born Dec. 18, 1979, in Albuquerque. Robert graduated Jemez Valley High School in 1998 and was a member of the Santo Toribio Catholic Church in Ponderosa. Robert loved mud bogging and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his cousins, Donald Jaramillo and Eddie Jaramillo; grandparents, Adelaido and Santos Martinez, Zacharias and Frances Jaramillo and uncle Henry Jaramillo. Robert is survived by his parents, Zac Jr. and Midgey Jaramillo of Ponderosa; sons, Nathan Jaramillo of Jemez and Aaron Trejo of Grants; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Yvette Jaramillo of Moriarty; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Donato Garcia of Albuquerque, as well as several nieces and nephews. A viewing and funeral service were held Sept. at the Santo Toribio Catholic Church in Ponderosa, with Father Larry Bernard officiating. Interment was at the Ponderosa Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Jaramillo, Carlos Garcia, Steve Jaramillo, Alfred Jaramillo, Jesse Jaramillo and Donnie Parrett. Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence Trujillo and Julian Trujillo.
