Ronald George Evans was born Sept. 16, 1941, passed away Nov. 25, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jerry Evans; daughter Kathryn Evans; his grandsons, Sebastian and Jordin; stepdaughter Kathy Fogg and husband Dan; granddaughter Hannah; grandson Joseph; brother Ken Evans and wife Carolyn, from Fresno, Calif.; sister Rita Cravens and her husband Art from Edgewood; nephew Lee Cravens and wife Sherry, of Indianapolis, Ind.; niece Kimberly Jepsen and husband David of Fresno, Calif.; and niece Pam Rogers and husband Steve of Moriarty. Ron worked as a miner and laborer for Maridian in Phoenix, Ariz., and for Wells Fargo as a laborer in Las Vegas, Nev., until his retirement. He loved his family, his horses, and his dogs. He was always active and loved being outdoors and traveling. Happy trails Ron, you will be missed. The family requests no flowers or plants. Ron would like donations made in his name to the following: Edgewood Senior Center, 114 Quail Trail, Edgewood, NM 87015 or Walking N Circles Ranch Horse Rescue, 198 Weimer Rd., Stanley, NM 87056. Arrangements were entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque.
