Moriarty’s Elijah Tapia scored the go-ahead touchdown with less than 30 seconds remaining in last Friday’s game to lift the Pintos to a 21-14 victory over the visiting district rival St. Pius X Sartans.

Moriarty’s boys soccer season ended last Friday with a 7-0 win at Grants. Three separate Pintos each scored a pair of goals, and Josh McCleave chipped in one. The Pintos finished the season with an 11-8-1 record.

Chloe Rector scored both goals in the girls squad’s 3-2 season-ending loss last Friday to visiting Grants. The Lady Pintos finished with a 6-11 record.

Estancia’s Adam Lujan had four touchdowns—three rushing and a 60-yard TD punt return—and Zeke Tapia added two TDs to help the Bears roll to a 53-0 mercy-rule shortened blowout last Friday over winless Dulce.
