Manzano’s Andy Doose, a Tijeras resident, nearly scored two goals in the first 10 minutes before the officials suspended, and then postponed the game due to lightning and rain.
“I was so excited to play this game, and when it started raining I thought, ‘Oh no, don’t cancel it,’” Doose said.
