- Estancia High School 2017 graduate Savanna Chavez received a scholarship to play volleyball at Trinidad State College in Colorado. She will be participating in next week’s Class 3A-4A North-South All-Star volleyball game in Albuquerque. Classmate Ezekiel “Zeke” Tapia will be attending New Mexico Highlands University and will attempt to walk on to the football team. Tapia will also be playing in next week’s Class 3A-4A North-South All-Star football game in Albuquerque.
