High pressure will remain stationary over Oklahoma while monsoon moisture remains in western New Mexico. This should lead to a dry day on Friday. Monsoon moisture increases over the East Mountains over the weekend; with a cold front moving into New Mexico from Colorado. The cold front will be the focus for increasing showers and thunderstorms over the weekend. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong on Saturday with gusty winds and possibly some hail.

For Edgewood, Moriarty and the Estancia Valley, Friday should be dry with high temperatures in the middle 80s and overnight low temperatures in the middle to upper 50s. There is a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms Saturday. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong with gusty winds and hail possible. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s with overnight lows Saturday night in the middle to upper 50s. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Sunday with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s.

For Cedar Crest, Tijeras and Sedillo areas, Friday should be dry with high temperatures in the middle 80s and overnight low temperatures around 60 degrees. There is a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms Saturday. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong with gusty winds and hail possible. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 80s with overnight lows Saturday night around 60 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Sunday with high temperatures around 80 degrees.
